KATIE-JANE HARTSHORN

Physiotherapist
B.Sc. (Physiotherapy)

Masters Clin. Phys (Sports & Exercise)

Katie is a Titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist. Originally from the Apple Isle of Tasmania, she moved to WA to study and fell in love with the lifestyle. When she is not here in clinic she also works as a physiotherapist with the AFLW Fremantle Dockers, as well as a supervisor for Curtin University’s postgraduate course and is a member of the APA Sports and Exercise Committee.

She has a strong rehabilitative focus and believes that manual therapy, exercise and empowerment through education is the perfect combination to enable a holistic approach. This is combined with a love for Clinical Pilates and movement as medicine. She has worked with various sporting teams through her career such as football, basketball and cricket but also enjoys treating the everyday athlete.

Katie particularly enjoys treating shoulder injuries, having worked alongside one of Perth’s leading orthopedic shoulder surgeons for the last 3 years in his rooms, as well as anything sports or CrossFit related!

Outside of work, Katie used to play cricket professionally for the Perth Scorchers and Western Fury. Since retiring she fell in love with CrossFit and is forever working on the art of walking on her hands and lifting a heavy barbell. She also loves yoga and a good book to balance everything out!
